Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensing Specialist to join our team at Red Oak Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with location managers and controllers to handle licensing processes for new locations and renewals for existing locations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of each state's licensing requirements, restrictions, and limitations.
  • Obtain necessary signatures, documentation, and complete paperwork in partnership with our third-party vendor.
  • Maintain active relationships with partners to ensure quick access and turnaround for necessary information.
  • Handle company information with sensitivity and safeguard confidentiality and right to privacy, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 0-4 years of experience in regulatory/license maintenance.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and Teams experience.
  • Previous accounting experience is a plus.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to record, maintain, organize, and present documentation to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn different software platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with proven record of confidentiality and discretion with critical information.
  • Effective communicator both oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Takes initiative, can work independently as well as with a team.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Sound decision maker and strong work ethic.
  • Experience dealing with government employees and agencies is a plus.
