Job Summary:
The Patient Accounts Representative is responsible for ensuring accurate billing edits before submitting claims to payers. This role involves following up on outstanding claims to achieve timely resolutions and maintaining an A/R balance below 20% of the overall outstanding balance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a high volume of claims.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately review and edit claims for submission to payers
• Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain an A/R balance below 20% of the overall outstanding balance
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Stay up-to-date with changing billing regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
• 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on billing
• 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on billing, preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in business administration or a related field, preferred

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
No weekends or call requirements
