Human Resource Generalist Job Description

The Human Resource Generalist at Marion Body Works Inc will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources Department in all aspects, including employment personnel records, employee relations, and benefits administration. This position requires maintaining the confidentiality of employee records, adhering to state and federal laws and regulations, and following established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Human Resources Department in all aspects, including employment personnel records, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of employee records and adhere to state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Follow established policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, conducting benefit review meetings, and recording attendance logs.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws and regulations, and implement new policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of one to three years' experience in Human Resources.
  • Positive employee relations and union experience are highly desirable.
  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent in experience and knowledge is preferred.
