Human Resources Manager

Amcor plc is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the administration of all Amcor Rigid Plastics human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
- Provide guidance to Plant Manager, functional managers, and supervisors in the interpretation and application of established human resources policies
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant federal and state laws and governmental regulations
- Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations
- Establish and maintain department records and reports
- Oversee the evaluation, classification, and rating of occupations and job positions
- Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview, and select applicants
- Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, conducting investigations, releasing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures
- Develop and maintain affirmative action programs
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Nationally recognized Human Resources Certificate preferred (i.e., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, etc.)
- Five years of experience in the field of Human Resources
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation, and benefits, labor relations, and negotiation
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules
