Job Summary:

The Associate Vice President/Associate Vice Provost for Community-Engaged Scholarship will be responsible for leading the Duke Center for Community Engagement, fostering connections between campus and communities, advancing Duke as a leader in community engagement, and strengthening educational outreach partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community research, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build trust with faculty, staff, and students. A PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required. At least ten years of experience in community-based work, with a proven track record of success in contexts such as community partnerships, curricular innovations, and team building, is essential.

Benefits: The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and enhanced by a generous benefits package. This is a full-time position, located in Durham, North Carolina, within the prestigious Duke University system.
