Job Title: Sr. IT Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. IT Technician to join our team at Safebox Technologies LLC. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving technical issues, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain client networks, equipment, software, and services.
  • Troubleshoot user problems remotely and onsite.
  • Accurately document all activities conducted.
  • Quickly learn and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Work independently and achieve high standards to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with management, staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Own up to mistakes and learn from them.
  • Communicate proficiently, including writing, speaking, editing, proofreading, and computer skills.
  • Identify the root cause of technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Utilize and manage IT service management tools for tracking and resolving client issues.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 and 11 Operating Systems & Hardware.
  • Experience with printer and multi-function devices and technologies.
  • Proficiency in standard Windows applications.
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of email and mobile device connectivity.
  • Mac OS troubleshooting skills.
  • LAN/WAN connectivity issues (routers, firewalls, switches, etc.).
  • Security solutions (VPN, MFA, SSO, etc.).
  • Server and endpoint backup systems.
  • Active Directory management.
  • Windows Server 2008 – 2022.
  • Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
  • Firewall troubleshooting and management.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to lift laptops/desktop computers and printers. Occasionally, heavier equipment (large printers, servers, or desks) may need to be moved and require a team lift.
  • Comfort with changing priorities in a rapidly growing organization.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary to accommodate client needs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT experience.
  • IT certification is a strong plus.
  • Prior Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security.
  • Low voltage and network cabling experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship building.
