Finance Operations Manager
The Tahoe Daily Tribune is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily functions of the finance team.

The Finance Operations Manager will be accountable for the core financial operations of the organization, which include:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Cash Management
  • Payroll Processing
  • Sales Tax Compliance

Additionally, this role involves preparing and reviewing reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, general ledger accounts, and journal entries.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Operations Manager will guide and coordinate the efforts of the finance department team members, although direct personnel management responsibilities are not included.

A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field with a minor in accounting is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in finance.

Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Finance Manager (CGFM), or Certified Public Financial Officer (CPFO), along with experience in a governmental or similar organization.

The compensation for this position ranges from $83,994 to $121,791, based on qualifications.
