Job Summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions.
  • Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a primary care or specialty clinic.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and practice management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
