As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical strategies to drive patient outcomes and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Operations
    • Collaborate with ownership to establish and maintain clinical standards, therapist goals, and operational procedures to ensure optimal financial performance.
    • Ensure thorough understanding of physical therapy coding and billing processes and regularly audit visit notes to ensure adherence to industry best practices.
    • Coordinate with the front desk team to optimize workflow and actively manage the schedule throughout the day to ensure proper utilization of therapists.
    • Lead by example and ensure accountability to the clinic mission, policies, standards, and goals.
    • Supervise staff, including physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and/or technicians, with patient care and related activities, in accordance with skill level and deemed appropriate by the PA State Board of Physical Therapy and other governing entities.
  • Patient Care
    • Encourage and empower patients to achieve their goals and improve their overall health.
    • Prepare and administer skilled physical therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders, referrals, prescriptions, current standards of care, and by assessing and interpreting evaluations, records, and test results of patients.
    • Design a home exercise regimen, recommend assistive equipment, and follow-up programs to improve patient outcomes.
    • Ensure smooth and timely patient flow in accordance with scheduled appointment times and clinic goals.
  • Compliance and Administration
    • Plan, organize, and oversee clinical activities of the practice, ensuring compliance with regulations of governmental and accrediting agencies, including Medicare and private insurers.
    • Maintain confidentiality of patient personal health information in accordance with HIPAA compliance.
    • Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records, including daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, treatment progress, and responses.
  • Marketing and Community Outreach
    • Provide exceptional patient care that garners 5-star reviews and contributes to the clinic's reputation.
    • Meet with providers at existing and prospective referral partner practices to promote the unique aspects and differentiators of FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers.
    • Lead educational workshops and presentations for community education.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy Degree (MPT) from an accredited school.
    • Current Pennsylvania physical therapy license in good standing and all other state-required documentation.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist with experience in outpatient settings preferred.
    • At least one year of experience running a clinic preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Interest in providing both orthopedic and vestibular therapy (pelvic floor is a plus, but not required).
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding procedures.
    • Experience in a fast-paced outpatient clinic preferred.
    • Basic business skills and a thorough understanding of the economics of running a physical therapy clinic.
    • BLS-CPR certification.
    • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a wide variety of people.
    • Curious and eager to learn.
