Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving problems.
  • System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain our systems, including testing and implementing system changes and updates.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure effective system operation and support, and effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain system documentation, including procedures and user guides, and provide training and support to clients.
  • Project Participation: Participate in system testing, validation, and implementation projects.
  • Critical Incident Management: Provide technical solutions and liaise with the Operations business during critical production outages, and manage the remediation tasks following these outages to avoid repeat failures.
  • Software Implementation: Work with the Development and Release teams to ensure robust software implementations.
  • Process Optimization: Create innovative solutions and proactive approaches to optimizing processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in production support or software development, preferably in the fintech industry.
  • Skills: Strong SQL knowledge and query writing, knowledge of GMI, AS/400, and System 36/RPGLE, experience with ITRS and ServiceNow.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
