Job Description

At Steam Logistics, we're committed to providing end-to-end services that help our customers move commodities efficiently, quickly, and economically. As a key member of our Domestic Sales team, you'll be responsible for cold calling customers and prospects, pricing out domestic lanes, and booking trucks to move commodities. You'll own your accounts from start to finish, working closely with carriers to determine availability and schedule appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create lead lists using Panjiva, ZoomInfo, and other resources to identify potential customers
  • Prospect potential customers through cold-calling and email outreach to grow our customer base
  • Research market prices for lanes and create target price points to finalize customer quotes
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new customers and carriers to ensure seamless integration
  • Book freight with a carrier, schedule pick-up and delivery appointments, and manage the shipment from start to finish
  • Collaborate with all Steam departments to provide exceptional customer service
