Job Title: Diagnostic Technician

At Hendrick Automotive Group, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our team. As a Diagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine customer vehicles to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Estimate the cost of repairs and communicate with customers.
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.
  • Document services performed and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines to ensure quality work.
  • Request necessary parts and materials to complete repairs.
  • Utilize available technologies to enhance customer experience and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Participate in required training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training or commensurate technical experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer preferred.
  • State inspection/emissions license required by State.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
