Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative I is a vital member of our team at UroPartners LLC., responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless patient experience. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage the front desk area, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Register new patients and update existing demographics, collecting necessary information and verifying insurance details.
  • Collect outstanding patient balances and process payments.
  • Obtain referrals and authorizations as required.
  • Scan incoming faxes, consents, reports, and patient information into the chart.
  • Generate batch transmittal reports for each day.
  • Facilitate patient flow by notifying providers and clinical staff of patient arrivals and delays.
  • Schedule follow-up services and office visits for patients.
  • Respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' customer service experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Basic knowledge of CPT procedure coding and ICD-10 diagnostic coding preferred.
