Job Summary

The Clinical Care Specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with physician orders, including health maintenance, episodic, and chronic care to the adolescent, adult, and elder population.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review medical records for pertinent previous and current medical information
  • Interview patients for assessment of current problems, medications, and allergies
  • Administer medications according to policy and procedure
  • Identify acute versus emergency situations and respond accordingly
  • Document all care provided in a concise and complete manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
  • 3-5+ years of experience and previous medical-surgical experience and IV Therapy skills
  • Ability to organize tasks, solve problems, and respond in a calm, purposeful, and pleasant manner in times of multiple demands and emergency situations

Working Conditions

This is a temporary float position which involves floating to the Urgent Care department and Internal Medicine main site and the satellite clinics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 3-5+ years of experience and previous medical-surgical experience and IV Therapy skills
