We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, assisting anesthesiologists and surgical staff, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Summary:

The Anesthesia Technician will assist the anesthesiologist staff in preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, as well as assisting with patient care and record-keeping. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology and anatomy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, including ventilators, humidifiers, and monitoring devices
  • Assist anesthesiologists and surgical staff with patient care and record-keeping
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of anesthesia equipment and techniques
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical terminology and anatomy course completion preferred
  • Minimum one year operating room experience required; previous anesthesia technician experience preferred
  • Current BLS-HP certification required; ASATT certification preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records
