Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at F&S Fresh Foods. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Verify and document product specifications to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct daily quality activities, including inspections, testing, and analysis, to assess incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
  • Partner with operations management to implement best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Verify production plans, conduct pre-operation inspections, and reject non-compliant materials or products.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including environmental swabbing, quality testing, and inventory records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., food science, quality assurance) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software and experience with supplier database management.
  • HACCP certification, food handler certification, and other relevant certifications desirable.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
