Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Oversight Specialist to lead the execution of complex construction projects from initial planning to completion.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality, timeliness, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
  • Resource Allocation and Management: Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as necessary to optimize efficiency.
  • Contractor and Vendor Management: Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement quality control measures to ensure construction meets regulatory standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and address issues as they arise to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
  • Communication and Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders. Provide regular progress reports to clients, senior management, and other relevant parties.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing civil and earthwork projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
Compensation Package:
