Vehicle Quality Assurance Specialist

Complete Coach Works is seeking a Vehicle Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our bus remanufacturing and rehabilitation processes.
About the RoleThe Vehicle Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine inspections of raw materials and transit vehicles in various stages of the rehab or repair process. You will utilize a variety of testing devices and procedures to ensure established standards are maintained for each contract or scope of work.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity.
- Maintain, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation devices.
- Track defects, test results, and other regularly reported quality control data.
- Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points.
- Identify and address potential problems before they occur.
- Perform additional cross-functional duties as needed.
- Related training or experience as a QC Inspector or equivalent with heavy trucks or buses.
- Strong mechanical aptitude in heavy trucks or buses.
- Valid CDL A or B with Passenger Endorsement or willingness to obtain a Passenger Endorsement within 6 months of employment with CCW.
- Mechanical knowledge of air brakes and air systems.
- Electrical knowledge is a plus.
- Computer skills including Word and Excel. Access is a plus.
- Willingness to take mechanical and electrical classes offered by CCW.
- Competitive salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
