Marshall University is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our Department of Communication Disorders. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and clinical service provision in the field of communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in communication disorders, including speech-language pathology and audiology.
  • Conduct research in communication disorders, with a focus on clinical service provision and education.
  • Provide clinical services to patients with communication disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Develop and maintain clinical education programs for students in the Department of Communication Disorders.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in communication disorders/speech-language pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP with a minimum of 5 years' experience providing services to the adult population.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: dysphagia, cognition, or other acquired neurogenic disorders.
  • Strong teaching, writing, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
