Finance Professor

Marshall University, a Carnegie R2 research institute in Huntington, West Virginia, is seeking a qualified candidate for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance position in the Lewis College of Business. The successful applicant will join a dynamic faculty team in the Department of Finance, Economics, and International Business, contributing to the growth of graduate and doctoral programs.

• Teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in finance, utilizing both face-to-face and online delivery methods.
• Develop and maintain a research agenda, with a focus on areas such as financial analytics, risk management, computational finance, corporate finance, and investments.
• Participate in department, college, and university services, including committee work and professional development.

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Finance or a closely related discipline.
• Teaching experience, with a demonstrated ability to teach effectively and engage students.
• Research interests in areas such as financial analytics, risk management, computational finance, corporate finance, and investments.
