About the Role

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Banking Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, providing personalized financial solutions, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Relationship Building: Utilize the consultative sales process to identify and meet the financial needs of our customers, promoting a range of banking products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services, recommending appropriate solutions to customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with business partners to refer customers to other areas of the bank, providing holistic financial solutions.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet/exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals, driving revenue growth and enhancing year-over-year performance.
Requirements
  • Education: College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the financial industry, preferably in retail banking or sales.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport with customers, and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) required.
