We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II Retail to join our team at Holmes Regional Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician II Retail, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Quality/No Harm: Enter prescriptions accurately, sort them based on method of delivery, and ensure the correct medication is in the correct patient containers.
- Customer Experience: Assist in unpacking and storing pharmaceuticals and supplies, generate prescription labels, and provide excellent customer service.
- Stewardship: Enter charges and credits for patient medications accurately and regularly monitor inventory to ensure it is under control.
- Computer skills to support distribution systems
- Pharmacy Technician Registration for the State of Florida or current State of Florida Pharmacy Intern registration
- Pharmacy technician certification by PTCB or ExCPT preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule
This role requires the ability to work in a noisy and distracting atmosphere, handle frequent interruptions, and maintain patient and department/hospital confidentiality.
