Business Development Vice President

ALTA IT Services is seeking a seasoned Business Development Vice President to lead our federal civilian portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and contribute to its success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue expansion.
  2. Establish and maintain key customer relationships to expand our revenue base and profitability.
  3. Engage in high-level negotiations to generate lucrative contracts and build beneficial strategic relationships.
  4. Lead a team of business development professionals to maximize customer engagement and positioning to win new business.
  5. Develop and execute strategic partnerships with industry leaders to drive innovation and new business opportunities.
  6. Represent the company through participation in industry-related organizations, conferences, and panels.
  7. Analyze RFPs and revisions/amendments, providing bid and proposal strategy recommendations.
  8. Contribute to the basis of estimate (BOE) development, including delivery model level of effort and labor category assignments.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree required.
  2. Ten (10) years of proven management experience in business development or sales for the Federal Civilian industry.
  3. Proven ability to support the accelerated growth of the company.
  4. Proven experience managing a $100M+ pipeline.
  5. Successful track record of driving growth through competitively winning new business opportunities.
  6. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills in sales and business strategies.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with executive and senior leadership, functional/support staff, and teaming partners.
  8. Knowledge and understanding of federal procurement processes, guidelines, and timelines.
  9. Extremely effective public speaking skills, presence, and relationship-building.
  10. Strong communication, project management, and time management skills.
