Your duties will include supervision, construction oversight, preparation and coordination of plans, specifications, reports, estimates, field studies, and surveys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the City Engineer in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of civil engineering technology.
  • Supervise and oversee construction projects, ensuring they meet design specifications and control requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate plans, specifications, reports, estimates, and field studies for various civil engineering projects.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support engineering projects, including reviewing records, maps, and other data.
  • Collaborate with other departments and city personnel to provide technical assistance and engineering support.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with public and private organizations, elected and appointed officials, and the general public.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 4 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering, including experience in design, planning, and construction.
  • Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) certificate required. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
