About the LPN/LVN Role
ATC White Plains is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. As an LPN/LVN, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse or medical doctor, performing a range of nursing tasks and procedures to maintain a therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Monitor patients' health and record treatment given
- Assist with rehabilitation programming and activities
- Transport patients to procedures and maintain confidentiality
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice
- At least one year of experience in the last three years
- Background screening and drug screening as required
Working Conditions
- Varied work sites, including hospitals and long-term care facilities
- Possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids
- Ability to read medical equipment and documents
