Job Summary

The Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. As a member of our team, you will work with youth in a residential setting to provide mental health services and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order and maintain updated testing and assessment materials
  • Supervise testing and assessment completed by Masters level psychologists and unlicensed psychologists
  • Conduct admission screening, including mental status exam and suicide assessment
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for youth
  • Provide individual and group counseling and psychotherapy
  • Collaborate with youth case managers, direct care staff, education and medical staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Requirements
  • Licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State
  • Must maintain a valid New York State license and registration
  • Experience working with youth in a residential setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
