Stern Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Director of Plant Services to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and guests by overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our physical plants.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory codes.
- Project Management: Develop and implement plans for maintenance and repair work, including evaluating labor and material costs and scheduling projects.
- Technical Guidance and Support: Provide technical expertise and assistance to staff as needed to ensure that facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all facilities are in compliance with State and Federal Regulatory codes and that our Corporate Ethics and Compliance Plan are upheld.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a skilled nursing facility is required.
- Skills: Experience using TELS is highly recommended, and knowledge of NFPA guidance for long-term care facilities is essential.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent professional experience is accepted.
- Leadership: Ability to organize and manage multiple locations and prioritize tasks effectively.
