Peer Support Care Specialist

Recovery Resources is seeking a dedicated Care Response Peer Support to join our team. As a Care Response Peer Support, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, working closely with Care Response Clinicians and first responders to provide real-time access to mental health screening, assessment, and support services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with Care Response Clinicians to facilitate mental health screening and assessment
- Providing support services to individuals in crisis, including wellness checks and linking them to needed services
- Developing a guide/directory of services and agencies available for referral
- Participating in daily review of mental/behavioral health calls/incidents and assisting in developing communication processes within the team

Qualifications include:
- Two years of peer support experience working with diverse populations
- Previous professional experience in crisis response or crisis intervention roles
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Peer Recovery Supporter Certification
