Under the general direction of a Program and Project Supervisor, the Senior Utilities Engineer (Specialist) is responsible for exercising Commission oversight responsibilities for safety and reliability of electric and communication facilities. This includes enforcing the requirements in Commission General Orders 95, 128, 165, 166, 167, 174, and 176.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the work of a team.
- Advise and make recommendations to various levels of management.
- Knowledge of Public Utilities Code as it pertains to the requirements of the division.
This position requires travel and may involve working in a fast-paced environment. The position is located in San Francisco (SF, SAC) and all identified locations will be considered as one candidate pool to fill one position.
Requirements- A valid California Drivers License (CDL) is required.
- A Professional Engineer License is required.
