Sales and Customer Service Role Overview

The qualified individual will be responsible for the sales and origination of fertilizer products in their designated territory. This person will have account ownership for customers and prospects, with a primary focus on outside sales efforts. They will work closely with the ADM grain origination team to manage fertilizer sales and assist in strategy development with business leadership for assets and future growth necessary to achieve strategic goals for ADM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow fertilizer sales in the territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects
  • Collaborate with the ADM grain origination team to manage fertilizer sales and logistics
  • Assist in strategy development with business leadership for assets and future growth
  • Ensure proper customer account maintenance, including A/R and logistics for ADM contracts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture or a sales-related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of fertility programs, fertility recommendations, and on-farm applications
