Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial loans, with a focus on acquisition, expansion, and retention of relationships.
  • Analyze credit history and determine loan repayment capabilities of applicants.
  • Negotiate credit terms, including costs, loan repayment methods, and collateral specifications.
  • Evaluate potential customer loan requests and make loan recommendations to management.
  • Review and approve commercial overdrafts on a daily basis.
  • Stay up-to-date on new laws and regulations affecting business lending and make recommendations to management as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to new commercial loan officers.
  • Develop new customer prospects and business opportunities.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in commercial and business lending.
  • Strong experience in C&I lending.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
  • Business development experience.
