Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health. This is a remote opportunity that requires a strong background in education and training, with a focus on delivering high-quality learning experiences to our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver training programs, courses, and presentations to meet the needs of our organization
- Facilitate learning and development events, both in-person and virtually, to engage and motivate our colleagues
- Conduct preparatory and post-session processes to ensure effective learning and development
- Customize learning programs, courses, and presentations to meet the needs of our diverse workforce
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders, management, and internal staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Communication, Business, Health Care, Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in delivering software application and/or workforce development educational training programs, and course curriculum, preferably in a blended learning environment
- Reasonable knowledge of and experience with ADDIE methodology in the development of training and performance support tools
- Ability to facilitate Instructor Led Training (ILT) and virtual classes
- Ability to develop basic level materials (job aids, Quicktips, etc.) to support training
- Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with personal computers, peripherals, and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic level knowledge of instructional design/development authoring tools and data structures
- Working knowledge of a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Awareness of current learning industry standards and trends
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with various individuals and groups to evaluate, conduct, and organize education to support Trinity Health
