Position Overview:

This role requires outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities. The ideal candidate will be courteous, helpful, and capable of engaging with the public as the initial point of contact, while embodying the mission and core values of DAP Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and assist every individual entering the facility with a professional demeanor, maintaining eye contact and a welcoming smile.
  2. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  3. Deliver consistent, high-quality service in alignment with DAP Health's core values and customer service standards.
  4. Proactively communicate with customers regarding any potential issues or delays.
  5. Keep management informed about the maintenance and upkeep of office equipment.
  6. Ensure accurate demographic and guarantor information is collected during each patient visit.
  7. Verify that the correct insurance is selected for services provided on the day of the visit.
  8. Identify and refer patients needing program assistance to the Care Coordinator Specialist.
  9. Collect all payments due on patient accounts, including co-pays and outstanding balances.
  10. Answer all incoming calls promptly and conduct patient calls professionally, adhering to established telephone protocols.
  11. Perform check-in duties as outlined in the operational processes.
  12. Execute operator duties when assigned, following the designated procedures.
  13. Conduct registration duties as needed, in accordance with the registration process.
  14. Understand and promote the organization's commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a patient-centered environment.
  15. Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  2. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  3. Current and valid CPR and First Aid certification is required for all staff working within a clinic setting.
