As an Optician at America's Best, you will play a vital role in helping customers see their best to live their best. Your primary responsibility will be to sell, fit, and dispense eyewear to customers, ensuring a seamless and excellent experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales and company objectives by providing exceptional customer service and promoting eyewear and eye care products.
  • Adhere to National Vision's Code of Conduct to maintain a professional and productive work environment.
  • Assist customers with selecting eyewear, recommending products based on lifestyle and prescription needs.
  • Educate customers on proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and notify customers of order readiness or delays.
  • Assist with dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses, as permitted by state law.
  • Perform insertion and removal training of contact lenses, as permitted by state law.
  • Answer and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of equipment, workstations, and the facility.
  • Ensure inventory control and loss prevention procedures are followed.
  • Maintain visual merchandising according to Brand and Company Standards.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of related experience or training in retail/customer service.
  • Strong selling skills and ability to meet sales targets.
  • Bilingual abilities preferred in some locations.
  • Ability to give clear and concise instructions to customers.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous and professional manner.
Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
