Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Program Director in developing and implementing grant-related schedules and assignments for staff.
  • Record and respond to incidents, client issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure daily HMIS data is updated accurately and efficiently, recording the status of youth staying at the center.
  • Assist with the intake of new and returning residents, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety, fire, and building inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a network of community resources and referrals, providing support to residents and staff.
  • Implement and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of chores, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor fire and safety equipment to ensure it is functional at all times, taking prompt action to address any issues.
  • Ensure the safety of the shelter on a daily basis, responding promptly to emergencies and taking necessary actions to prevent harm.
  • Submit weekly supply lists, including housekeeping, office, and hygiene supplies, to ensure a well-stocked and efficient environment.
  • Foster a peaceful and respectful atmosphere in all programs and groups, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Facilitate and ensure that educational groups and structured activities take place with residents assigned, promoting learning and personal growth.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or graduation equivalent.
  • Five years progressively responsible related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
