Business Development Representative Job Description

Gannett Co. , Inc. is a diversified media company with a strong presence in the national and local markets. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify potential clients through high-volume calls and emails.
  • Develop and implement effective prospecting strategies in collaboration with Digital Marketing Consultants and Management.
  • Gain a deep understanding of various businesses within specific verticals, their challenges, and how digital marketing and technology can improve their operations.
  • Set appointments with qualified businesses and work closely with the sales team to drive growth.

Requirements:

  • Track record of high achievement in sales or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous sales experience or a strong desire to begin a sales career.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
