Senior Manager, Inclusive Exhibits Experience

The Tech Interactive is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the development of inclusive exhibits and experiences that inspire innovation and creativity in our community. As a key member of our Exhibits team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing engaging and inclusive exhibits that align with our organizational goals and community needs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cohesive exhibit concepts that integrate IDEA principles and visitor voice.
- Perform background research, synthesize findings, and write content for labels and digital resources.
- Lead the integration of accessibility features into exhibit design, exceeding ADA standards.
- Develop strategies to improve or expand on The Tech's IDEA initiatives.
- Manage and mentor exhibits team members, exercise collaborative leadership, and serve as team leader for key projects.
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Champion our diverse community throughout the exhibit development process.
- Conduct evidence-gathering, analyze findings, and lead efforts to ensure exhibits are relevant and engaging.
- Oversee the development of key projects from initiation to completion.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in exhibit development, particularly with IDEA practices.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with collaborative processes, research methods, and communication.
- This is an onsite position with flexibility for working at alternative locations.
- Willingness to work a modified schedule when needed.
