Job Title: Quality Program Manager - Registered Nurse - Trauma/Burn Program

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Quality Program Manager for the Trauma and Burn Program. About the Role:

The Quality Program Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives in the Trauma and Burn Program. This will involve working closely with the Nursing Director, multidisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, quality improvement, and leadership, with experience in managing complex projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives in the Trauma and Burn Program
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to trauma and burn care
  • Provide education and training to staff on quality improvement and trauma and burn care
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in emergency room and ICU nursing required
  • Database management and analysis experience preferred
  • Experience in healthcare and patient safety quality measurement, reporting, and improvement
  • Previous leadership or project management experience, including statistical concepts and applications preferred
