Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Compliance: Remedy any unsafe conditions in a timely manner, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Learn the setup, operation, adjustments, and operating parameters of production equipment, and perform routine maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Project and apply company policies and department SOPs, promote teamwork, and develop open communication with machine operators, department supervisors, and managers.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Facilitate the implementation of a preventative maintenance schedule for production equipment, and build spare parts stock for normal wear items.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform plumbing and electrical work, repair equipment, and paint necessary areas to maintain production and aesthetic standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Assess maintenance and repair problems, and develop a daily walk-through routine to spot and document possible problems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Reconfigure electrical and water drops to improve esthetics, efficiency, and safety, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform duties in accordance with company policies and department SOPs.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced production environment, and perform physical tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
