Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Development Professional - Education to join our team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising a variety of educational programs for members of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Plan and implement a range of educational programs, including Career Launch, Computer Science Pathway, Diplomas2Degrees, DIY STEM, Money Matters, Power Hour, Summer Brain Gain, Tech Girls Rock, and Ultimate Journey.
  • Program Delivery: Deliver high-quality educational programs to members, ensuring that they are engaging, interactive, and relevant to their needs.
  • Program Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring that programs are aligned with the organization's strategic plan.
  • Program Administration: Prepare weekly reports, maintain program schedules, and ensure that programs are delivered on time.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in youth development, education, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of youth development principles, ability to motivate and manage behavior, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Work Environment

This position works Monday through Friday, 2pm-7pm, with occasional evenings and weekends. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering high-quality programs to members.

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods, with occasional bending and squatting.
  • Mental Demands: High energy level, ability to multitask, and strong emotional intelligence.
