About the Role

Cytiva is seeking a highly skilled Filtration Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving territory growth, expanding direct sales, and establishing professional relationships with customers.

This is a remote-based position with regular travel to customer sites throughout the territory. You will be part of the Central US Filtration Specialist team and will work closely with our account managers to develop sales strategies and account plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to sales strategies and account plans, working closely with the core account team.
  • Focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single-use designs within the territory, supporting all filtration consumables products, process-related single-use technologies, and relevant equipment.
  • Develop sales of modality process solutions in the assigned sales region/territory, establishing long-lasting technical customer relationships.
  • Provide high-level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events.
  • Lead technical and process-related discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts, providing applicative support, including troubleshooting and answering customer queries of sophisticated technical and applicative nature.
  • Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets, managing leads and prospects using customer relationship management software.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with filtration and downstream processing.
  • Customer focus, delivering customer-centric solutions to meet current and anticipated needs.
  • Plan to Action, prioritizing options and translating intentions into plans and sustainable outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial sales process experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
  • Cross-selling, upselling, value positioning, and funnel management experience.
