Qualifications:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; three (3) to six (6) months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Capable of effectively presenting information in both one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and fellow employees.
Responsibilities:
Facilitates assigned programs that resonate with our residents, enhancing their lives and meeting their active aging lifestyle expectations.
Provides a variety of recreational activities for residents, ensuring adequate supervision for each event.
Designs programs for residents, including, if necessary, those tailored for individuals confined to their rooms.
Engages and inspires residents to participate in programs.
Communicates upcoming activities and maintains an updated schedule of events on the community bulletin board.
Welcomes new residents, making a concerted effort to include and engage them in activities and introduce them to others in the community with shared interests and backgrounds.
Assists in organizing parties and events, as well as decorating the community in accordance with seasonal themes and holidays throughout the year, including planning monthly birthday celebrations to honor residents.
Supports Bright Beginnings initiatives, including housewarmings.Actively contributes to the community's census-building efforts.
Maintains records of all activities, tracking resident participation levels and feedback on each event as mandated by state regulations.
Assists the Engage Life Director in recruiting volunteers to support the activities program.May operate a company vehicle for community outings and various destinations (if required by the community).
May perform additional duties as assigned.
Salary Range:
The compensation for this position ranges from $18.00/hr to $20.70/hr, based on prior work experience and qualifications.
