Job Summary
This is an opportunity to use your HR expertise and make a meaningful impact as an HR consultant with CA HR Services. We are seeking an experienced professional to provide comprehensive HR services to our clients, including HR audits, risk mitigation, process improvement, and employee relations.

About Us
CA HR Services is a boutique Human Resources consulting firm specializing in working with small to medium-size businesses. Our team of experts provides customized HR services, from outsourcing to on-call support, to help our clients achieve their goals.

Your Role
As an HR consultant with CA HR Services, you will play a critical role in the success of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing professional HR services to our clients, either as the sole HR representative or by managing customized projects
• Conducting HR audits to identify areas for improvement
• Identifying legal gaps and non-compliance, and making recommendations for risk mitigation
• Developing new processes, procedures, and policies to improve HR infrastructures
• Performing full-cycle HR services, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, LOA, W/C and claims management, performance management, coaching, and discipline/termination as needed
• Designing and conducting training and development programs
• Handling Employee Relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and attending UI hearings if necessary
• Coaching management
• Setting up, administering, or managing payroll as needed
• Regularly reporting to and collaborating with our team and management, and participating in remote company meetings
• Traveling to client sites in the area as needed

Your Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced HR professional with a strong background in California Labor and Wage laws, union experience, and proficiency in processing payroll. You should have a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field and be proficient in Microsoft Office and online file-sharing tools. A professional certification in Human Resources is highly desired.
