About this role:

As Financial Director, Strategic Growth Initiatives, you will oversee capital raising initiatives, financial health, and strategic direction, leveraging your expertise in debt and equity capital markets, financial principles, risk management, and corporate governance. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capital Planning and Fund Raising: Develop and execute comprehensive capital plans, strategies for raising debt and equity capital, and collaborate with the Department of Energy to secure funding under the Loan Program's Office Title 17 energy financing program.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk, ensuring the company's financial stability and sustainability.
  • Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow management, investments, and debt financing, optimizing financial performance and minimizing costs.
  • Private Equity Capital Markets: Develop private equity fundraising strategies, identify target investors, create compelling management presentations, and work with FP&A to develop economic models.
  • Investor Relations: Foster strong relationships with investors, analysts, and rating agencies, effectively communicating the company's financial position and growth prospects.
  • Team Leadership: Build and scale a team of finance professionals, including controllers, treasurers, and financial analysts, driving excellence and innovation in financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • CPA or CFA certification preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior finance role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of financial leadership and success
  • Deep understanding of financial principles, risk management, and corporate governance

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $242,000 - $270,000 annually, paid on a semi-monthly basis, depending on relevant factors such as experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, and geographic location.
