Magee Resource Group is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Associate Vice President of Perioperative Services. This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and is responsible for providing both strategic and operational direction for Perioperative Services.
The successful candidate will oversee various departments, including Main Operating Rooms, Day Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Eye Surgery, along with their respective pre-operative and recovery units, Sterile Processing, and Gastrointestinal Labs. This leader will ensure the operational integrity and financial sustainability of all initiatives while fostering a collaborative governance framework that aligns with the hospital's mission and supports the medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure the effective management of all perioperative departments.
- Maintain financial oversight and accountability for departmental budgets.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff to promote professional growth and excellence in patient care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing.
- Progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- A minimum of five years in a nursing leadership role.
