The Life Enrichment Assistant is a vital member of our team, responsible for delivering engaging programming that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents. This role requires a passion for creating a sense of community and promoting resident participation and choice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with individual and group activities, ensuring residents arrive at scheduled events on time.
- Empower residents to develop interpersonal relationships and socialize effectively.
- Monitor daily and monthly calendars of events, outings, and recreational opportunities.
- Maintain supplies and notify supervisors of needs in a timely manner.
- Support all workers and positions in the building, identifying areas for assistance and providing help as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Previous experience caring for seniors is preferred.
