Job Overview

The position is under the supervision of the General Manager and offers substantial earning potential through a competitive base salary complemented by unlimited commission opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivating and sustaining a robust customer base for heavy construction machinery and rental services within the designated territory.
  • Advocating for the sales and rental of all equipment lines, including pre-owned machinery and customer support initiatives.
  • Upholding targeted profit margins for both sales and rentals.
  • Keeping clients informed with the latest manufacturer updates and information.
  • Maintaining a high level of expertise in product and service offerings.
  • Proactively enhancing quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Completing all sales and rental agreements promptly.
  • Reporting on competitive market insights.
  • Regularly visiting client sites to assess current and future equipment requirements.
  • Continuously expanding the assigned sales territory and growing the customer base.
  • Participating in sales training to stay informed about company products and services.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience in equipment sales.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential company information with discretion.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to stoop, bend, climb, and crawl without restrictions.
  • Proficient in using general office equipment.
  • Occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to operate and drive a vehicle safely for meetings and events.
Travel Expectations:
  • Up to 80% travel may be required.
