Job Title: Superintendent (Roofing)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent (Roofing) to join our team at Guardian Operations LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily job site operations, ensuring the successful completion of roofing projects, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily job site operations, including managing materials and supplies for multiple crews.
  • Improve job site efficiency and cost containment.
  • Schedule and coordinate with sales and management to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Train and oversee site foremen and crew personnel in roofing system installations.
  • Respond to client and management inquiries, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Inspect work in progress and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain open communication with management and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor job progress and control costs to meet project budgets.
  • Provide support to the Production Manager as needed for materials, schedule, and cost information.
  • Prepare estimates for minor change orders and provide information to estimators for major change orders.
  • Attend daily department team meetings and weekly scheduling meetings.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the roofing industry.
  • Proven track record of managing production operations and people.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Business and financial knowledge.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift 50 pounds.
