About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Paraprofessional Educator to join our team at Springfield Public Schools. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing individualized support to students as needed.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities to promote student learning and engagement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective educational environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Education or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
