Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to join our team at Camrett Logistics Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the General Manager/Operations Manager with daily activities and planning, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating work duties to cover customer needs
  • Supervise employees and provide guidance on safety procedures and instructions
  • Monitor work progress and issue corrective actions when necessary
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Manage inventory and update computer systems to customer/company specifications
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and employees
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 2-year degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in related fields; or 6+ years of experience in related field without 2-year degree
  • Strong keyboarding skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to listen and follow directions
  • Detail-oriented with ability to proof own work
Work Environment

The Assistant Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to lift 35 pounds and work independently with minimal supervision.
